Belzona 5813 Spray Application An airless sprayer was stall-out tested and readied for spraying before any mixing took place. The surface of the steel panels was dry blasted to the requirements of SSPC SP 10 prior to application. All concrete surfaces were cleaned and abraded before the application. Prior to the application, all materials needed to mix Belzona 5813 were prepared. The base component was mixed to reincorporate any settlement and poured it into a separate, bigger container. Belzona 5813 solidifier was then added. A total of 8 L of Belzona 5813 were mixed to ensure there was sufficient product for the spray application. Once product temperature and pressure were adequate for proper atomization, spraying operations started. 50% overlap spray was used to achieve uniform coverage.
