Storage tanks can face many challenges, which can affect different parts of the tank itself: whilst the interior of a tank can be attacked by corrosive chemicals, the exterior can be damaged by weather conditions such as rain and UV rays, as well as acid rain caused by chemicals present in the surrounding environment. Equally problematic is the corrosion that can develop under the insulation of the tank, known as CUI (corrosion under insulation).

Belzona repair composites can be used for metal bonding repair using a versatile method that does not require any shut-down, hot work permit, or the de-gassing or reclassification of the equipment, therefore saving a significant amount of money to clients. Cold plate bonding can be done by either glue or injection, using one of the many Belzona products that provide high levels of adhesion.
