In this video, we visit a Chinese facility implementing a spray applied protective coating on to 31 process vessels for various parts of the Oil and Gas process. Allen Ren - Country Manager for China - speaks about the application of a polymeric coating at the fabrication stage and why Belzona 1391S was chosen for this project. Alternatives, such as cladding have a number of disadvantages, whereas a sprayable coating means: - Lower installation costs - Easier to implement - Improved suitability against various chemical media - Long term erosion and corrosion protection - High immersion temperature resistance Belzona 1391S: A 2-part spray-applied epoxy coating designed to provide corrosion resistance to high temperature equipment operating under continuous immersion up to 110°C (230°F). This solvent-free coating provides excellent resistance to a wide range of aqueous solutions, hydrocarbons and process chemicals, making it ideally suited for process vessel protection
