Machinery Alignment using Belzona 7111

For the purpose of this video, Belzona was allowed access to a Manufacturing Plant, FL, USA to document the application of Belzona 7111 used to align some new equipment.

The factory had undergone extensive expansion resulting in the installation of several new pieces of machinery. Many of which required chocking and levelling to prevent both movement and water from penetrating beneath the bases.

Ongoing construction around the factory meant that the machinery had to be installed diligently and in harmony with other construction activities.

Belzona 7111 was recommended as it allows for precise alignment under machinery to be maintained and provides resistance to pressure, impact and vibration.
 
This 100% solids chocking/grouting material is designed to endure the physical and thermal shock common in many industrial and marine environments.  Belzona 7111 is pourable and is specially formulated to spread out evenly across irregular surfaces.

Belzona 7111 was poured at depths between 1.5 inches to 3 inches. The application was carried out in less than a day with no interruption to the operation of the plant.
