In this video, we demonstrate how to apply Belzona 5812 DW to the internals of a tank to provide protection from corrosion and chemical attack where potable water approval is required. 

Material Used: 
To coat this tank, we used Belzona 5812 DW which is approved by NSF for the applications in contact with drinking water.

How to Guide:
Step 1: Prior to working on internal steelwork, tanks must be drained cleaned and made safe as appropriate
Step 2: Oil and chemical contamination must be thoroughly removed using steam cleaning, detergent washing or use of Belzona 9111 on localized contamination
Step 3: Apply masking tape to protect the other areas
Step 4: Transfer the entire contents of the Solidifier container into the Base container. Mix thoroughly together to achieve a uniform material free of any streakiness
Step 5: Evenly apply Belzona 5812 DW using a brush to the entire application surface. One coat NSF approved system achieved
Step 6: To achieve a two-coat system, apply a further coat of Belzona 5812 DW 
Step 7: Remove masking tape
