How to Mix Belzona 1381 by Volume

#Belzona1381 - a 2-part spray- or brush-applied high temperature epoxy coating for erosion and #corrosionprotection of #equipment operating under continuous immersion up to 95°C (203°F). 

Due to its capability for high film build in a single coat without sagging and superior erosion resistance, Belzona 1381 is ideally suited to be used as an #epoxy pipe lining for protection of girth welds on internal field joints. 
Like with any two-component materials, a thorough mix is absolutely key to a successful application.

For the mixing you will need the base and solidifier of Belzona 1381, a measuring cup and a spatula. 

Each package comes with the Manufacturer’s Instructions for Use. 

Measure 5 parts of Base and 2 parts of Solidifier in a measuring cup. 

Using a spatula mix both components scraping off material to fully incorporate them into the mix. 

Once the mixed material achieves a homogenous color and consistency, it is ready for the planned application on: 

- Flanges
- Pipework
- Vessels
- Tanks and other equipment
