In this video, we demonstrate how to apply Belzona Abrasion Resistant Systems to create hard-wearing, durable linings for the repair and protection of pipework, screw conveyors, centrifuges, pump impellers, hoppers and other equipment subject to abrasion. 
It is also ideal for bonding and grouting tiles and wear plates where high abrasion resistance is required

Materials Used:
In this application, we used Belzona 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) for surface repair, Belzona 5821 as a bonding agent, Belzona 9811 Alumina Tiles, Belzona 1812 (Ceramic Carbide FP) for grouting the tiles.

How to Guide:
Step 1: Prepare the entire area of the equipment using a grinder
Step 2: Thoroughly clean the repair area
Step 3: Mix Belzona 1311 thoroughly

Step 4: Apply a thin layer of Belzona 1311 into the prepared area pushing the product into the surface profile and filling the voids 
Step 5: Once the Belzona 1311 has cured, mix Belzona 5821 for use as a bonding agent 
Step 6: Evenly apply a thin layer of material over the area you are covering by brush
Step 7: Bond in place the Belzona 9811 Alumina Tiles 
Step 8: Remove the mesh from the Tiles
Step 9: Thoroughly mix Belzona 1812 to use for grouting 
Step 10: Grout around and between the tiles by trowelling Belzona 1812 to give a smooth contoured surface
