Belzona 1813 has been recently developed by Belzona for protection of industrial equipment against abrasion at high temperatures. Belzona 1813 is a two component repair and protective coating that can be easily applied, simplifying maintenance procedures. This coating incorporates abrasion resistant ceramic fillers to protect metallic surfaces against abrasive attack and wear at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F). It also exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most commonly found chemical substances including inorganic acids and bases. Belzona 1813 can be applied without the need of specialist tools at thicknesses up to 6mm/ 0.25 inch on horizontal or vertical surfaces.
