Belzona 4511 a two-component, solvent-free elastomeric sealant for vertical, horizontal and sloped expansion joints This sealant can be applied by a caulk gun or spatula. One of the key factors of a Belzona application is a thorough mix of two-component materials. In this video we demonstrate how to mix Belzona 4511 by volume. Each product package comes with the Manufacturer’s Instructions for Use. Measure 5.1 parts of Base and 1 part of Solidifier using a measuring cup, and thoroughly mix using a spatula. Make sure to scrape off material to fully incorporate all the components. Continue mixing until a homogenous color and consistency are achieved. The mixed material is sag-resistant and ideally suited for joints with +/- 12.5 % movement. Once the mixed material turns into a uniform grey color, it is ready for the planned application on: - Concrete bleachers and steps - Access ramps - Vertical expansion joints - Adjacent walls - Concrete bases - Windows, doors and other openings
